Current Recital Project
Poets link composers and composers link poets in A Chain of Verse and Song.  A transition from French verse to English is made via Reynaldo Hahn’s rarely heard settings of poems from A Children’s Garden of Verses by Robert Louis Stevenson.  The recital also features a new setting of Dickinson by Virginia Tech composer Ico Bukvic for computer and voice with audience input.  Although other composers and poets are included, the basic chain is illustrated below.  The recital is a collaboration with pianist, Tracy Cowden.
